Keep uncertainty attached

Verified with caveats means the record remains usable, but one or more unresolved conditions are disclosed in the dossier. Verification is not a promise that a vendor will honor a price.
How pricing is represented
Monthly prices and annual-billed monthly equivalents occupy separate fields. Free, usage based, not listed, and contact or custom offers remain distinct. Category ledgers group source currencies before sorting numeric entry offers; they do not convert currencies or rank quality.
How changes are classified
Later comparisons distinguish increases, decreases, newly listed numeric prices, amounts no longer listed, and unchanged baseline states. Teal denotes verified or decreased values, coral denotes increases, amber denotes caveats or newly listed states, and neutral text denotes a baseline.
Affiliate disclosure
StackWatch currently links directly to official vendor pages without referral tracking. If customer referral links are added later, each one will be marked as sponsored. Affiliate availability never changes data, coverage, category ordering, or comparison facts.
Limits and corrections
Vendor pages can be incomplete, region-specific, or changed between checks. Every dossier links back to the official source and exposes its archived snapshot as inert plain text, with a SHA-256 digest, so a published figure can be traced. The next successful extraction can correct the structured record while retaining detected price history. News summaries can also be incomplete or become outdated; readers should consult the linked external source. A link supplies context, not endorsement.
