Visitor privacy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-24.
Short version
StackWatch sets no tracking cookies, runs no advertising networks, and loads no third-party analytics scripts. Reading this site does not create a profile of you.
Server logs
Like nearly every website, our host (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained by the host under its own policy and are not used to profile visitors.
Analytics
StackWatch does not install or run a client-side analytics script. It does not use Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, session replay, tracking pixels, or cross-site visitor identifiers. The hosting provider may expose aggregate traffic and security information derived from the server requests described above.
Affiliate links
StackWatch does not currently publish customer referral links. If a marked affiliate link is added later, the destination vendor or affiliate network may set its own referral cookie under its privacy policy; this would happen on the destination domain, not ours.
Data we publish
Published pricing records concern products and prices. For news discovery, our private pipeline uses public social posts and account identities only as signals for candidate stories. Public news cards contain an independently written headline, summary, and external source link; they do not reproduce raw posts, social URLs, handles, or source-account identities. Archived pricing evidence may incidentally contain publicly visible vendor-page content.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the last-updated date above.
